Leading Our Practice

Dr. Broc Pratt is a firm believer that the integration of art and medicine is the best approach to achieving optimal results and patient satisfaction. He utilizes his extensive training, experience, and discriminating eye for detail in the pursuit of hair symmetry and a more youthful appearance. The ultimate result is a more vibrant, natural look for his patients.

Dr. Pratt offers comprehensive and advanced hair restoration procedures as well as plastic surgery of the face and neck. Dr. Pratt has served the Charlotte area since 1997 beginning with his surgical residency, then becoming Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center, and finally into private, cosmetic practice.

"As a physician, quality patient care is of the utmost importance to me. I believe that teamwork, communication and patient education are essential to patient satisfaction. It is important to provide as much knowledge and information as possible at the time of consultation to help my patient's make sound, informed decisions. I have found that when a patient is part of the decision making process, the sense of collaboration often replaces their anxiety about the procedure."

Dr. Pratt is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and a candidate for membership into the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has hospital privileges at Carolinas Medical Center, CMC-Pineville, and CMC-Mercy, although most surgeries are performed on site at The Refine Institute's private AAAHC certified surgical suite. He is licensed in North Carolina and has volunteered his surgical services in Haiti, Ghana and West Africa at the Baptist Medical Center where he served the rural and impoverished villages of the Gold Coast.

Dr. Pratt co-authored a portion of the textbook, "Minimally Invasive Cancer Management," and has published over 13 manuscripts in peer reviewed journals such as the Annals of Plastic Surgery, Surgical Clinics of North America, Seminars in Laparoscopic Surgery, The American Surgeon, Surgical Endoscopy, The Journal of Surgical Research, and the prestigious Journal of the American College of Surgeons. His academic work has been presented in Singapore, Germany and at major surgical forums throughout the United States.

Dr. Pratt's contributions have led to several distinguished awards, such as the Ambrose Paré Award for outstanding student of surgery, the Carolinas Laparoscopic and Advanced Surgery Award for outstanding contributions to minimally invasive surgical research, the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Surgeons Clinical Research Award, and the Southern Medical Association Research Award.
